The 2024 Choice Gas selection period is April 4 – April 24.
The Wyoming Choice Gas Open Enrollment is April 1-21, 2022.
Our Natural Gas Commodity Pricing Options
Below are our natural gas commodity pricing options for residential and commercial customers. Your natural gas costs are impacted by two things—usage and market conditions. We’ve outlined how each pricing option works and how we can help you bring stability and certainty to your bill.

What is the Choice Gas Program?
The Choice Gas Program allows customers to purchase their natural gas commodity in a competitive marketplace. Customers can choose a third-party supplier from a list of participating natural gas commodity suppliers based on the pricing option and service that best fits their needs.
Natural gas is still delivered through Black Hills Energy’s infrastructure, and they’re responsible for any service or maintenance emergencies. Black Hills Energy is also responsible for mailing your bill.
Once enrolled, your selected price option and natural gas commodity supplier will begin with usage on June 1, 2024, and will appear as a line item on your Black Hills Energy bill.
